The project aims to Liberate
from physical constraints of time and space. The system can basically be described as a magnetic field which allows objects to freely
float in space. This allows for free manipulation of the objects. The system blends the virtual and physical world. Objects can be virtually enriched (through projection) and can enrich the visual world. For example by casting a digital shadow.
The system works either with digital programming, manual programming or a mixture. For example, balls can orbit around other balls in the environment in a pre-programmed fashion. In manual programming gestures can be recorded. In the hybrid mode manual actions (moving the ball in the environment) can influence a pre-programmed action.
The properties of the system make it useful
in education and architectural planning.
